Karim Benzema, Real Madrid

Karim Benzema was born on December 19, 1987 in Lyon, France. He is a Muslim soccer player who currently plays as a striker in Real Madrid, La Liga.

He is coming from Muslim family in Algeria. His uncle is the imam of the mosque's original village, located in Jlil Ath, 70 km south-east of Bejaia. In the late 1950s, the grandfather of Karim Benzema, Da Lakehal Benzema left the village Tighzert to settle in Lyon with his family. Karim is from the third generation of Benzema. At home everybody respects the pillars of Islam, even if he does not show it on the ground.

  15. I dont understand with you guys muslims. I'm dont wish to be offensive but whats the big deal whether is he is muslim? Pleae dont mix soccer and religion together. Because it is a total diff thing,it makes me wonder why u muslims always asking such question. If he is not a muslim? Then does it mean u dont support him? Do u see Christians fans Asking such questions? Or even buddhists fans asking such stupid questions? Or is it you muslims felt so great and proud when there are muslims players in the big league? Get a life and real!! There are lots of Christians players in the big league, then does it mean all the Christians or Catholic fans can only support or get qow if the players have the same faith? I'm not aurprise if there are lots of muslims rebutting me

    1. the reason is that, Muslims are a minority in most premier football leagues and also because Muslims are portrayed positively by the mainstream media, and that's why Muslims take pride in any Muslim that excels in sport or music or anything else.

It's kinda like how New Zealanders take pride when a kiwi is famous because their country is so small, or how Catalans take pride in Barca because their community is persecuted, or how gay people take pride in Ricky Martin or Anderson Cooper.

Christians are the majority and they're present in every field of the world.

  16. This is nonsense.
    You are all idiots.
Karim Benzema and Franck Ribery were both involved in a prostitution ring which involved a 16 year old Algerian model called Zahia Dehar.
Now they later dropped the case, because of appeal.
So much for the son of an "Imam", hiring prostitutes.
    Hypocrisy at its finest.

  18. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic schedule, and despite the fact that the name of the month originates before Islam, Ramadan took on uncommon hugeness as it turned into the delegated season in which to remember the disclosure of the Qur'an.Taraweeh
