Samir Nasri is a Muslim soccer player who plays in English Premier League club, Arsenal. Because of his ball domination, deadly passes, speed, and mobility in every region, Samir Nasri has been hailed as 'New Zidane' for French national team.
Unlike Karim Benzema which does not show his religious side on the field, this is not the case for Samir Nasri who does not care what people will say it. At the beginning of each game, Nasri has isolated few seconds for raise his both hands to heaven, to recite the Fatiha.

ReplyDeleteI've just watched MOTD and seen him put two pretty cool goals past Fulham, helping to take Arsenal to the top of the premiership. I hope he goes on making a major contribution to the world of football for a long time to come. I'm sure he has had to overcome lots of obstacles to get this far - I get the impression that lot's of French Algerians are not treated very well when it comes to the job market etc, even though they might be 3rd generation citizens (BBC newsnight did a piece on it a few months back). Once again well done, and good luck for the future. I hope Samir can inspire others to go on and achieve in whatever field they find themselves in.
